国际地圈-生物圈计划国际地圈-生物圈计划InternationalGeosphere-BiosphereProgramme国际科学联盟理事会(ICSU)发起和组织的一项重大国际科学计划。又称全球变化研究计划。英文缩写IGBP。为解决全球环境问题,1984年国际地学界提出了开展广泛合作,进行地圈-生物圈相互作用的研究,以揭开科学奥秘,保护人类赖以生存的地球环境。1988年ICSU正式提出计划大纲,并组成了IGBP科学委员会。这项计划的科学目标是描述和理解控制全球系统的、相互作用的物理、化学和生物学过程;描述和理解发生在该系统中支持生命的独特环境的变化,以及人类活动对上述基本过程及其变化的影响。研究重点集中在充分反映3个基本过程和圈层间相互作用的界面上,预测数十年至数百年对生物圈影响最大、对人类活动最敏感的重大全球变化问题。已形成近10个科学研究核心项目,初步形成一个完整的、多学科、跨学科的计划。参加这一计划的有40多个国家。中国于1983年起参与酝酿和讨论,1988年成立了国家委员会。
