氟氟fluorine一种化学元素。化学符号F，原子序数9，原子量18.9984032，属周期系ⅦA族，为卤素的成员。1786年瑞典C.W.舍勒用萤石与硫酸作用，产生氢氟酸以刻蚀玻璃。1812年法国A.-M.安培指出氢氟酸与盐酸的组成类似，其中可能含有一种新元素。此后，英国H.戴维等试图用电解法制取这种新元素，均未成功。直到1886年法国H.穆瓦桑才将氟化钾溶解在无水氢氟酸中进行电解，制得了单质氟。氟在地壳中的含量为0.072％，由于氟是特别活泼的元素，所以自然界并不存在游离的氟，总是以氟化物的形式存在，主要矿物有萤石（CaF2）、冰晶石（Na3AlF6）、氟磷灰石〔Ca5（PO4）3F〕，人的牙齿中约含0.3％的氟。常温下，氟是淡黄色气体，有刺激性臭味，熔点－219.62℃，沸点－188.14℃，密度1.69克／升（15℃）。氟是电负性最高的元素，化学性质非常活泼。除氦、氖、氩以外，氟能同所有元素化合。在低温下，氟就能与溴、碘、硫、磷、砷、硅、碳猛烈化合，碳在氟气流中可以燃烧，潮湿的氢与氟混合，会发生爆炸。木材放在氟气流中会立即着火，甚至被认为是可以用来防火的石棉和惰性的玻璃，在氟气流中也会燃烧。氟与金属的反应也很剧烈，但氟与铝、镍、铁、铜反应，在金属表面形成一层具有保护作用的氟化物。氟是毒性很大的腐蚀性很强的元素，能强烈刺激眼、鼻、口腔、气管等的粘膜，吸入较多时会严重中毒，皮肤与氟接触会造成严重烧伤。氟原子的电子构型为1s22s22p5，而且氟原子特别小，所以氟原子核对外层电子的吸引力很强，使氟没有失去电子的倾向，因此，氟只有获得一个电子形成稳定的－1价化合物的倾向。氟化氢是无色气体，无水氟化氢的酸性很强。氟化氢的水溶液称为氢氟酸，稀的氢氟酸是一种弱酸。它能与二氧化硅或硅酸盐作用，生成挥发性的四氟化硅或氟硅酸：
