水动力学水动力学hydrodynamics研究水和其他液体的运动规律及其与边界相互作用的学科。又称液体动力学。液体动力学和气体动力学组成流体动力学。液体动力学的主要研究内容如下:①理想液体运动。可忽略粘性的液体称为理想液体,边界层外的液体可视为理想液体,其运动符合理想流体运动规律。②粘性液体运动。分析大粘度液体(如润滑油)的流动状态、水流的能量损失、船舶的摩擦阻力、边界层和尾迹等都须考虑液体粘性。③空泡流。液体流经压强足够低的区域时,内部气化形成空泡,除空泡溃灭产生冲击,造成边壁材料剥蚀破坏外,还会形成空泡绕流现象。④多相流动,挟有固体颗粒、掺有气泡等物质的液体流动,如含沙水流、掺气水流等。⑤非牛顿流体流动。剪应力和剪切变形速率不成线性关系的液体(如加入高分子聚合物的水)的流动。⑥自由表面流动。流动液体的部分边界是液体和气体的分界面,其上的压力接近常数,明渠流、液体自由表面波、物体从空气进入水中时带入空气而形成的空泡流动等均属这种流动。⑦分层流。两层或多层密度不同的液体可形成分层流,密度差可由不同液体产生,也可由含盐、含沙量不同或温度不同所引起。⑧水弹性问题。在某些条件下,流过固壁的液体可引起边壁振动,这种振动又反过来改变流动特性;研究液体与弹性体相互作用的理论称为水弹性力学。水动力学既是一门基础理论学科,又是一门应用学科,主要用于水利水电工程、造船工程、海洋工程、近代水中武器、化工、环保工程、石油开采等领域。
