蜕皮蜕皮molting 蜕皮(molting)一些动物蜕去旧表皮代之以新表皮的过程。昆虫蜕皮受蜕皮激素的控制,次数因虫种而异,也因性别、环境温度和营养条件不同而有差异。雌幼虫蜕皮次数常多于雄幼虫,在一定温度范围内随环境温度的升高蜕皮次数趋于减少,营养条件低劣蜕皮次数增多。在正常生长条件下,幼虫每蜕皮一次身体即有一定程度的增大,依照戴氏律(Dyar,sLaw),幼虫每蜕一次皮头壳宽度增加1 .4倍。幼虫随着体积增大而蜕皮,每蜕皮一次增长一龄,这类蜕皮称生长蜕皮;从幼虫变蛹,蛹变成虫或若虫变成虫的蜕皮称变态蜕皮。 刚蜕皮的幼虫新表皮十分柔软,一般白色,经一定时间表皮即变硬变暗。表皮的硬化是多元酚氧化酶与底物酪氨酸在皮细胞外侧经一系列氧化作用形成骨质蛋白的结果,这个过程称作棘化作用,由蜕皮素和靴化激素调控。表皮颜色变深与黑色素的形成有关。 幼虫蜕皮程序是:蜕皮前皮细胞先行分裂,产生很多新细胞,与表皮相接的细胞膜出现皱褶;继之旧表皮与皮细胞层分离,此现象称皮质溶离。新生的皮细胞分化为蜕皮腺、绛色细胞和毛原细胞等;蜕皮腺分泌蜕皮液(内含几丁酶和蛋白酶),可将旧表皮的内表皮消化。与此同时,由新的皮细胞依次形成新的上表皮、外表皮和内表皮。最后将未经消化的旧表皮脱离虫体,脱落的旧表皮称作虫蜕。旧表皮脱离虫体常靠不同因素完成,一般在胸部或头部的顶端有薄而脆的蜕裂线,蜕由此处裂开随后脱下;有的靠虫体内的各种压力实现(如蜚蝶吞入空气、水生昆虫吞水以产生内压等);有的幼虫蜕皮时头部下垂,利用重力使旧表皮破裂后脱落。(见彩图179)(程振衡)
