湖流  湖水沿一定方向的运动。引起湖流的力有重力、梯度力、风力和派生的地转偏向力等。水力梯度主要由于进出湖泊的水流使湖面倾斜而产生;密度梯度由于湖水温度、含沙量和含盐量等在湖内分布的差异而产生。风把动量传给湖水,引起湖水运动。湖水一旦运动便受到地转偏向力和摩擦力的作用,在北半球,地转偏向力使水流偏向前进方向的右方。摩擦力使湖水运动受到阻滞。湖流与海流相同之处在于都有梯度流和漂流,不同之处在于湖流受进出径流的影响显著,而海流则受地转偏向力影响较大。    根据成因,湖流分为梯度流和漂流。按流动的路线分为:平面环流,即在平面上形成循环系统;垂直环流,即水流在断面上形成循环系统;朗缪尔环流,即在表层形成的螺旋流。    梯度流  分为吞吐流和密度流两类。湖水在压力梯度力作用下流动,称为吞吐流,亦称重力流。径流进入湖水成层的湖泊,因密度差异产生不同的分层流。当河水密度小于上层湖水密度时,形成在湖水表层流动的表面流;当河水密度大于下层湖水密度时,形成潜流;当河水密度介于上层与下层湖水之间时,形成中层流。吞吐流流速一般不超过 20~30厘米/秒。由于湖水密度分布不均,湖水在密度梯度力作用下产生的流动称为密度流。由于上下层湖水密度差引起的垂直环流称为密度环流。在大湖泊中,由于地转偏向力的作用,密度环流可能形成平面环流。    漂流  因盛行风对湖面的持续作用而产生的切应力引起的湖水运动。漂流时在地转偏向力作用下,表层湖水偏离风向45°,在北半球偏向右,在南半球偏向左。这种偏向随深度递增,流速则随深度递减。在较大的湖泊中,由于地转偏向力的作用,形成平面环流。在较小的浅水湖泊中,地转偏向力的作用可以忽略。漂流在湖岸附近引起湖水的体积运输,在北半球顺风方向右岸,湖水堆聚,左岸湖水分散,湖面发生倾斜,引起上升流和下沉流。漂流在密度相同的湖泊中常形成一个垂直环流。在密度分层的湖泊中环流向下时,在分界面受到下层密度较大的湖水的阻隔,形成上下两层垂直环流。环流对于湖水的物理化学性质的均化和水生生物的养殖有重要意义。    朗缪尔环流  上层湖水在风力作用下形成的一系列彼此平行、长轴方向与风向一致的螺旋状流动。旋转方向有顺时针,也有逆时针。在相邻的螺旋流之间的水面上,往往聚积许多树叶、油膜、微粒等物质,形成许多平行的条纹。这一现象于1938年由I.朗缪尔首先发现,故得名(见图)。在较大的湖泊中,当风速大于 2~3米/秒时往往出现朗缪尔环流。这种环流对于湖面藻类和浮游动物的水平分布有显著影响。      参考书目   施成熙、梁瑞驹主编:《陆地水文学原理》,中国工业出版社,北京,1964。   R.
