磁致伸缩材料磁致伸缩材料magnetostrictivematerial具有显著磁致伸缩效应的磁性材料。已实用的磁致伸缩材料分为3类：①金属磁致伸缩材料。其饱和磁化强度较高，力学性能好，可承受较高的功率，但电阻率低，不适用于高频段。常用的有铁基合金、镍基合金。②铁氧体磁致伸缩材料。其饱和磁化强度较低，材料的气隙率影响其力学性能，故不能承受较高功率，但电阻率高，可用于高频段。③巨磁致伸缩材料。其磁致伸缩系数（材料在磁场力作用下产生的伸缩量与材料原长度之比）远高于常规材料，耦合系数也高；缺点是所需磁化场强高。磁致伸缩材料可用于制造超声和水声换能器件，如超声探伤器、超声钻头、回声探测器等；用于制造电信器件，如振荡器、滤波器、谐波发生器等；也可用于制造自动控制器件及测量和传感器件。
