糖鞘脂分子式:CAS号:性质:又称糖鞘脂,神经鞘脂。属于复合脂中的鞘脂类(sphingolipids),它们的一个共同点是分子中含有鞘氨醇(sphingosine)组分。所以鞘糖脂是一个大类化合物的总称。根据其分子中极性部分呈碱性、中性和酸性情况又把鞘糖脂分为三类。第一类,即碱性鞘糖脂、包括鞘氨醇、神经酰胺、鞘磷脂;第二类,即中性鞘糖脂,包括脑苷脂类,如半乳糖脑苷脂、葡萄糖脑苷脂、脑硫脂等;第三类,即酸性鞘糖脂,又称神经节苷脂类,是最复杂的一类鞘糖脂,它的极性头部有唾液酸sialic acid,即N-乙酰神经氨酸,这类脂质大量存在于大脑灰质中,占其中全部脂类的6%。鞘糖脂主要存在于脑,神经系统,细胞膜。鞘糖脂在许多特殊的生物学功能中是非常重要的。如红细胞表面的中性鞘糖脂使血细胞具有血型的专一性;神经节苷脂类在神经末梢含量丰富,可能它在神经突触的传导中起重要作用,也可能参与某些受体部位;细胞表面的神经节苷脂和其他鞘糖脂可能与组织或器官的专一性有关,还可能与免疫和细胞间识别、发育、分化有关。此外,Tay-sachs病和Fabry病等都是因鞘糖脂代谢异常所致遗传性疾病。
