闪速炉闪速炉flashfurnace一种强化生产的熔炼炉。具有巨大表面面积的粉状物料,在炉内充分与氧接触,在高温下,以极高的速度完成硫化物的可控氧化反应。反应放出大量的热,供给熔炼过程,使用含硫高的物料,有可能实现自热熔炼。闪速炉具有生产率高、能耗低、烟气中二氧化硫(SO2)浓度高的特点。闪速炉主要用于铜、镍等硫化物精矿熔炼。闪速熔炼是充分利用细磨物料的巨大活性表面,强化冶炼反应过程的熔炼方法。这种方法主要用于铜、镍等硫化矿的造锍熔炼(铜、镍、钴火法冶金过程中的一个重要工序)。闪速熔炼脱硫率高,有利于二氧化硫的回收,并可通过控制入炉的氧量,在较大范围内控制熔炼过程的脱硫率。闪速熔炼的主要缺点是渣含主金属较多,须经贫化处理,加以回收。
