蓄热器  在工业锅炉供汽系统中储存多余热量并在需要时将所蓄热量释放出来的设备。在工业锅炉供汽系统中如果用汽量经常发生大幅度的波动,不仅会引起锅炉汽压、水位上下波动,使锅炉运行操作困难,还会导致锅炉燃烧效率降低。在这种情况下应用蓄热器能有效地稳定锅炉负荷,改善锅炉运行条件,不使锅炉效率降低。锅炉蓄热器有变压式和定压式两类,变压式蓄热器的工作压力随所储热量的增减而变化,其中最典型的是蒸汽蓄热器。定压式蓄热器的工作压力恒定,其中以给水蓄热器最为常用。    蒸汽蓄热器  一种应用最广泛的变压式蓄热器(见图)。当锅炉蒸发量大于用汽量时,多余的蒸汽进入蓄热器加热其中的储水(饱和水),蒸汽本身也凝结于其中,蓄热器中的压力随之上升。当用汽量大于锅炉的蒸发量时,蓄热器中的储水(饱和水)因降压而沸腾,提供蒸汽以保持锅炉负荷不变。整个工作过程由一组自动调节阀门自行控制。阀V1用以保持锅炉压力不变,阀V2用以保持用汽压力不变,而蓄热器压力则在二者之间变化。锅炉压力与用汽压力之间的压差越大,蓄热器可储蓄的热量也越大,并可按不同的情况来选择其容积。蒸汽蓄热器特别适用于工业锅炉系统。    给水蓄热器  一种定压式蓄热器。蓄热器压力、锅炉压力与用汽压力都基本相同。当用汽量低于锅炉蒸发量时,多余的蒸汽(或热量)用以加热给水,使给水成为饱和水并储存于蓄热器中。当用汽量增大时则用蓄热器中温度较高的饱和水代替温度较低的给水送入锅炉,使锅炉的蒸发量增大以满足需要。给水蓄热器工作压力恒定,故也适于小型蒸汽动力装置,但其储蓄热量不大。锅炉给水温度越高,其蓄热能力越低。
