空心玻璃微珠一种经过特殊加工处理的玻璃微珠,其主要特点是密度较玻璃微珠更小,导热性更差。主要应用前景是油罐火灾的扑灭。空心玻璃微珠是一种尺寸微小的空心玻璃球体,属无机非金属材料。典型粒径范围10-180微米,堆积密度0.1-0.25克/立方厘米,具有质轻、低导热、隔音、高分散、电绝缘性和热稳定性好等优点,是近年来发展起来的一种用途广泛、性能优异的新型轻质材料。• 颜色纯白。可广泛用于任何对外观颜色有要求的制品中。 • 比重轻体积大。空心玻璃微珠的密度约是传统填充料微粒密度的十几分之一,填充后可大大减轻产品的基重,替代及节省更多的生产用树脂,降低产品成本。 • 具有有机改性(亲油性)表面。空心玻璃微珠润湿分散容易,可填充于大多数热固热塑性树脂中,如聚酯、环氧树脂、聚氨酯等。 • 高分散、流动性好。由于空心玻璃微珠是微小圆球,在液体树脂中要比片状、针状或不规则形状的填料更具有较好的流动性,所以充模性能优异。更重要的是这种小微珠是各向同性的,因此不会产生因取向造成不同部位收缩率不一致的弊病,保证了产品的尺寸稳定,不会翘曲。 • 隔热、隔音、绝缘、吸水率低。空心玻璃微珠的内部是稀薄的气体,所以它具有隔音、隔热的特性,是做为各种保温、隔音产品的极佳填充剂。空心玻璃微珠的隔热特性还可用于保护产品经受急热和急冷条件之间交替变化而引起的热冲击。较高的比电阻,极低的吸水率使其可广泛用于加工生产电缆绝缘材料。 • 吸油率低。球体的微粒决定了其有最小的比表面积及低吸油率,使用过程中可大大减少树脂的用量,即使在高添加量的前提下粘度也不会增大很多,大大改善了生产操作条件,可使生产效率提高10%~20%。广泛用于玻璃钢制品、复合泡沫塑料、人造大理石、合成木材、隔音保温材料、原子灰、深海浮力材料、保龄球、低密度粘合剂、密封材料、轻质树脂工艺品,壁画壁挂相框、墙板的夹心层结构、电子工业轻质封装材料、吸波材料、轻质混凝土、乳化炸药等。
