模具现代虚拟产品设计与制造的研究[摘要] 在分析传统模具产品设计中存在问题的基础上，利用虚拟现实和虚拟原型技术及理论，进行模具虚拟产品设计，提出应用WTK虚拟环境开发程序，实现与CAD的集成和数据共享，极大地提高模具企业加入WTO后新产品开发的市场竞争力。[关键词] 模具虚拟产品设计WTK虚拟现实一、引言 随着经济全球化及市场竞争的日益激烈，模具产品设计正面临严峻考验。模具企业必须利用最新的技术，在最短的时间内开发出高质量、低成本、高附加值的产品，以最快的速度响应和投放市场。这就需要改变传统模具产品设计方式，采用现代产品设计技术，模具现代产品设计技术是基于知识的设计，它要综合利用现代管理、控制、系统工程、仿真、信息建模、人工智能、数据库以及网络通讯等技术，将模具产品设计过程中的信息流有机集成，并模拟出模具产品未来的性能，以及模具制造全过程对模具产品设计的影响，从而做出正确的决策与设计方案。 模具产品制造是典型的单件小批量、离散型生产。传统模具产品开发从设计、试制到产品上市周期太长，设计过程中难以与用户进行交流，难以及时听取用户的意见，难以考虑可制造性和可装配性，很难全面考虑安全、维护等方面的要求，不能综合考虑生产、时间以及费用等相互制约条件的限制，更谈不上考虑整个模具产品寿命周期的诸多问题。应用CAD技术必须在模具产品图纸全部出来之后，才能与用户进行交流。此外，图纸上的模具产品因缺乏直观性，有时模具产品制造之后才能发现诸多问题，造成模具产品不能符合用户的要求，既影响交货期，又增加成本，有时甚至影响客户关系及市场占有率。 二、模具虚拟产品设计与制造概念的提出 虚拟现实技术集成了计算机图形学、多媒体、人工智能、网络、多传感器、并行处理等技术的最新研究成果。实时的三维空间表现力、人机交互的操作环境能给人带来身临其境的感受。随着际互联网技术的普及，虚拟现实技术必将成为现代产品设计技术的主流和标准。模具虚拟产品设计技术是虚拟现实技术在模具产品制造中的应用或实现。它是模具现实设计环境和制造环境的计算机内部映射，是虚拟制造的重要内容。模具虚拟制造是以仿真技术、虚拟现实技术等为支撑，对模具设计、加工、装配、维护经过统一建模形成虚拟的环境、虚拟的过程、虚拟的产品。
