gdf-001是一型著名的小口径高炮,在西方国家享有盛誉,有多种改进型,被许多国家引进和仿制。该炮是在瑞士厄利孔公司为美国海军研制的舰用高射炮的基础上研制而成的,火炮口径经过多方面论证被认为最佳。该炮于1959年定型,而当时,美国等国家都在忙着发展防空导弹,忽视了陆军高射炮的作用。火炮由双管kdb火炮及相应配件组成,由拖车牵引,配备“超蝙蝠”全自动射击指挥系统,两门炮为一个火力单元。火炮采用可提高射速的浮动式反后坐装置,理论射速为2*550发/分。火炮有效射高3000米。除了射击精度高,反应速度快等特点,该炮还可配装曳光脱壳穿甲弹等多种弹种。
