家畜营养和代谢疾病  家畜营养缺乏及代谢紊乱引起的一类全身性群发病。包括糖、脂肪和蛋白质代谢紊乱,矿物质和水、盐代谢障碍,维生素缺乏症和微量元素缺乏症(家畜)等。不少呈隐性或亚临床病例,常导致家畜生长缓慢、产量降低。    营养缺乏症和代谢紊乱不属于任何一个生理解剖系统,但在病理变化或症状方面常以某些系统为主。如钙、磷代谢障碍和维生素D缺乏症主要在骨骼系统; 维生素A缺乏症主要在视网膜及骨骼;维生素E和硒缺乏症主要在肌肉;碘缺乏症主要在甲状腺;锌缺乏症主要在皮肤等等。构成这类疾病的原因很多,常表现一定的地方性特征。如北纬40°以上的地区由于光照时间缩短,常发生骨软病和维生素 D缺乏症;在硒、碘、锌等微量元素缺乏地区,可分别发生羔羊白肌病、幼畜甲状腺肿、仔猪皮肤不全角化症等疾病。随着家畜生产性能的提高,这类疾病更易发生。如高产奶牛分娩后最初10周可因饲料中能量及糖不足而发生酮病;饲料营养成分中高钙低磷及维生素 D缺乏、分娩后又大量泌乳可促使罹患生产瘫痪。近年已把奶牛酮病、生产瘫痪、倒地不起综合征、低镁血症性搐搦、产后血红蛋白尿等营养和代谢疾病独立出来称之为生产疾病,都是由于母牛在饲料营养的摄取与泌乳生产的支出之间呈现不平衡所致。某些营养成分过多而另一些营养元素的不足或缺乏,与两种或两种以上元素进入机体内产生互相加成或互相拮抗作用有关,如牛缺铜可因钼过多,猪缺锌可因钙过剩。机体内各种营养物质之间也常相互干扰吸收和转化,如缺磷饲料可降低胡萝卜素的转化作用,而低磷饲料却有利于维生素A的贮存;维生素E可防止体内硒的氧化;饲料中含大量胡萝卜素具有抗维生素D作用; 植物中草酸进入体内能与钙结合而被排除等。    随着兽医技术的发展和检测水平的提高,现已能对一些亚临床病例和许多过去未知的营养和代谢疾病加以诊断。一般首先根据动物的种类、用途、年龄、胎次及生产水平,计算出对必需营养物质的实际饲料消耗量、消化率和利用率,然后对照临床症状和临床病理实验室诊断材料,判定各种有关营养成分在活体内的代谢水平及其平衡状态,从而作出病原学诊断。根据病原采取相应治疗措施。加强饲养管理具有良好的预防效果。
