单性结实(parthenocarpy)  单性结实(parthenocarpy) 子房未受精而形成果实的现象。单性结实的果实因未受精而没有种子,但有些植物的单性结实的果实内有无胚种子,如无花果;有些果树的无籽是由受精后的败育而形成,称为伪单性结实,如无核白葡萄。依据单性结实发生情况可分为两类:一类是自动单性结实,即未经授粉或其他任何刺激的子房能自然发育成果实,另一类是刺激性单性结实,即雌蕊发布经过授粉或其他刺激后才能结实。
