大亚湾核电站大亚湾核电站中国90年代兴建的规模最大的核电站。位于广东省大亚湾畔的大坑村。由广东核电投资有限公司和香港核电投资有限公司合资建设,1984年4月动工。电站范围198万平方米,厂区占地63.5万平方米,反应堆采用法国制造的2台900兆瓦压水堆,90厘米厚的预应力钢筋混凝土密闭安全壳可承受5个大气压。电站装有2套各900兆瓦的汽轮发电机组,年发电量可达100亿千瓦时。电站投产后,70%的电力供应香港,30%供应广东。1号机组于1993年8月21日并网发电,1994年2月投入商业运行。
