白粉虱  粉虱科昆虫的 1种。蔬菜和观赏植物的重要害虫之一。中国北起大庆,南到石家庄,西起兰州、西宁,东到济南均不断猖獗发生。日本、荷兰均有分布。    白粉虱蛹壳卵形或长椭圆形,长约1.64毫米,宽约0.74毫米。淡黄色半透明或无色透明,有时蛹壳大小变化很大;背盘区中央稍向上隆起,整个蛹壳面覆盖白色棉状蜡丝。亚体缘周边单列分布小乳头状突。在背盘区对称分布有 5对较大的短圆锥形乳头状突。在腹部中段的2对较大的乳头状突之外侧还分布有1个小的乳头状突。管状孔略呈三角形,盖瓣片仅盖住孔口上方,舌状器明显伸出盖瓣片以外。在管状孔上方两侧分布 1对鬃状短毛,在亚体缘尾端分布有2根鬃状长毛。    环境适合时,约1个月完成1代,1年可发生 10代以上。1雌可产 40~50粒卵。雌成虫有选择嫩叶集居和产卵的习性,随着寄主植物的生长,成虫逐渐向上部叶片移动,造成各虫态在植株上的垂直分布,常表现明显的规律。新产的卵绿色,多集中在上部叶片,老熟的卵则位于稍下的一些叶上,再往下则分别是初龄幼虫、老龄幼虫,最下层叶片则主要是伪蛹和新羽化的成虫。    白粉虱作为温室害虫报道,已有 110年的历史。已有51个国家记载这一害虫,被取食植物达 84科、249属。近10年来,此害虫的分布和为害逐渐扩大和加重,不时侵袭农作物和森林树种。1974年在日本广岛发生后,仅3年时间就蔓延整个日本,现记载日本寄主植物就有53科,181种。1971年荷兰报道此害虫的流行性大发生。1976年以后,在中国北方为害也十分猖獗。由于此害虫吸食寄主植物汁液,引起叶片枯黄、萎蔫、生长衰弱以至枯死。此外,由于成虫和幼虫分泌大量蜜露,导致植物煤污病发生而严重污染果实和叶片,影响植物正常呼吸和光合作用,久而造成减产和降低蔬菜、果实的质量,影响观赏植物的观赏价值。中国寄主植物可达 150种以上,其中包括蔬菜、花卉和药材等。天敌丽蚜小蜂对之寄生率较高。用溴氰菊醋防治,常有良效。
