北方冷季型草坪的秋时修整冷季型草坪具有返青早、枯黄晚、绿色期长等特点,在我国北方地区城市绿化中占有较大比重。但冷季型草坪喜冷凉气候,经过高温高湿的炎热夏季,秋季如何加强养护管理,使草坪恢复良好的生长态势,是养护管理者需要解决的问题。一、浇水北方地区秋季干旱少雨,多风,空气干燥,地表干裂,因此,及时浇水是非常必要的。有条件的地方,一般每5至7天就浇水一次。时间应选择在上午10点以前或下午4点以后。每次要浇足浇透,特别是久旱无雨的情况下,以深达土层15厘米为宜,这样,根系可扩展到深层土壤,长久下去,根系发达。坡地草坪,水应缓慢流入、以便有渗水时间,防止水分大量流失,特别注意坡的最上面,是受旱相对严重地区。喷灌应遵循3个原则:一是用小孔或雾状喷灌;二是喷水速度不要太快,应与土壤渗水速度相当;三是避免土壤积水,尤其是局部大面积积水,每次浇水以湿润土表10至15厘米为宜。二、施肥春季草坪返青之后,在3月中下旬施肥,可促进根系生长,多分蘖,控制杂草生长,从而覆盖率高,同时增强抗性。但秋季施肥往往被人忽视,甚至认为没有必要,这是非常错误的。在晚秋8月下旬至10月下旬增施两次肥料,既可刺激草坪根系生长,控制高生长期,提高抗寒性,延长绿色期,又使来年春季草坪早萌动。以尿素为例,每次每平方米18克的用量就足以保证草坪草的养分供给,草坪生长健壮。施肥时应在草坪上的露水干后进行,以防止肥料粘在草叶上,灼伤叶片,影响观赏。因肥料只能由地表住下渗,而不能向四周扩散,因此施肥必须均匀,施后立即喷灌,以保证根系充分吸收,也避免灼伤草坪。三、修剪冷季型草坪喜水喜肥,每年的5至10月中旬为快速生长期,如果修剪不及时易倒伏、枯黄,因其生长量大,一年修剪次数高达13次之多,因此,及时修剪是至关重要的,否则通风、透光不良,易干枯死亡,孽生病害。为避免剪草机在地表留下车辙,最好在土壤不潮湿又较松软时进行刈剪。刈剪最理想的时间为叶片干燥时,可减少对草坪草的人为伤害。刈剪高度不能低于5厘米,坡地草坪刈剪高度应较平地高。剪掉的草应及时用铁耙耧出,增加草坪透气性,减少病虫害的发生。一定要保持剪草机刀片锋利,减少叶面创伤。修剪的草坪,高度可控制,景观优美,而且促进基部萌发新枝。草坪草开花会消耗大量营养物质,应避免开花,一旦形成花序,及时剪掉。入冬前的最后一次修剪高度不应低于8厘米,有利于草坪抗寒越冬。四、病虫害防治进入秋季,天气转凉,草坪草病虫害也明显减少。适度的刈剪,及时清除杂草,控制草坪干湿度,改善空气流通条件,会减轻病虫害的发生。控制原则是“预防为主,防治结合”。秋季主要以控制锈病为主,一旦发现,及时采取适当措施,一般不会引起严重危害。——摘自《中国花卉报》2002.8/22
