同工酶同工酶isozyme;isoenzyme生物体内催化相同反应而分子结构不同的酶。按照国际生化联合会(IUB)所属生化命名委员会(CBN)的建议,则只把其中因编码基因不同而产生的多种分子结构的酶称为同工酶。最典型的同工酶是乳酸脱氢酶(LDH)同工酶。同工酶的基因先转录成同工酶的信使核糖核酸(mRNA)、后者再转译产生组成同工酶的肽链,不同的肽链可以不聚合的单体形式存在,也可聚合成纯聚体或杂交体,从而形成同一种酶的不同结构形式。根据产生酶分子不同结构形式的原因,可将同工酶分为:基因性同工酶或原级同工酶、次生同工酶或转译后同工酶。在生物学中,同工酶可用于研究物种进化、遗传变异、杂交育种和个体发育、组织分化等。在医学方面,同工酶是研究癌瘤发生的重要手段。
