农杆菌属分子式:CAS号:性质:又称农杆菌属。根瘤菌科内的一属革兰氏阴性、能运动、有荚膜的好氧杆菌。细胞大小为(0.6~1.0μm)×(1.5×3.0μm)。生长温度25~28℃。在含糖培养基上产生黏性菌落。可广泛利用单糖、双糖和有机酸类。利用葡萄糖产酸而不产气。不能固氮。主要分布于根际土壤中。大多数菌种可感染双子叶植物的根并促使根或茎的增生,形成根癌等病症。G+Cmol%值为57~63。模式种为根癌土壤杆菌(A. tumefeciens),它的致癌作用是由孔质粒引起。目前Ti质粒已成为植物遗传工程研究中的重要载体,用以传递优良的外源遗传性状以培育植物良种。
