EC:3.4.11.1分子式:CAS号:性质:蛋白质水解酶中的氨肽酶类(aminopeptidases)之一。这类酶能从多肽链上游离的氨基末端(N端)由外向里逐个地把氨基酸切下,故又称肽链外切酶(exopeptidases)。亮氨酸氨肽酶不是因为只能水解以亮氨酸(Leu)为N末端残基的肽键,而是水解以亮氨酸为N末端的肽键速度为最快才有这一名称由来。实际上它同样可作用于N末端的其他氨基酸。对猪肾来源的LAP(分子量约255000)研究较多,但来自其他生物源的LAP也很多。分子量约30万,由数个亚基构成。Mg2+或Mn2+是该酶催化作用所必需的。早期它常用于对多肽的氨基酸序列测定。通常把在pH值8.5,25℃下,每分钟能水解1μmol L-亮氨酰胺(L-leucinamide)的酶量为一个酶活单位。
