苯基乙二醇分子式:C8H10O2分子量:138.17CAS号:93-56-1性质:白色针状结晶。熔点69-70℃,沸点272-274℃。易溶于水、醇、醚和苯,微溶于石油醚,但易溶于热石油醚。制备方法:由苯乙烯与溴反应生成1,2-二溴苯乙烷,再经水解而得苯基乙二醇。将苯乙烯加入石油醚中,在冷却下滴加溴,控制温度在15℃以下,加完后搅拌1h,过滤出1,2-二溴苯乙烷白色结晶,将其与水、碳酸力钾回流20h。冷却,分去上层油状物,水层加碳酸钾饱和后析出油层。分出油层。水层用苯提取。提取液与油层合并,经干燥后回收苯,然后减压蒸馏出苯基乙二醇。用途:用于有机合成。
