爱德华兹个人爱好量表  美国心理学家A.L.爱德华兹1959年编制的测量需要和动机的自陈式人格问卷。简称EPPS。适用于大学生和成年人。该量表共测量15种需要和动机:自责、成就、接近他人、攻击、自主、求变、关注他人、支配、执著、表现、异性恋、内省、养育、求秩序和帮助他人,这些特质都取自H.A.默里的人格理论。该量表共210个题目,每个题目含有两个社会期望值相同的陈述,要求被试从中选取一个最适合于自己的陈述,这种方法消除了社会期望值对被试取择陈述的影响。但所得到的分数是自我参照的,即个体对自己的较强动机的选择,因此,当被试觉得两种陈述都不合适时,也必须选一个,这样就无法确切地知道被试的需要或动机的强度,给分数的解释以及测验的效度研究带来问题。该测验已在中国得到修定,比较广泛地应用于人格研究及职业选择中。
