自发磁化分子式：CAS号：性质：磁有序物质中，相邻离子未满壳层的电子之间有强烈的交换作用。在低于居里温度或奈耳温度且无外加磁场的情况下，这种作用会使相邻原子或离子的磁矩在一定区域内趋于平行或反平行排列，处于自行磁化的状态，称为自发磁化。自发磁化所产生的单位体积内磁矩的矢量和，叫做自发磁化强度。一般自发磁化随环境温度的升高而逐渐减小，当超过居里温度或奈耳温度即全部消失，物质就变成顺磁性物质。由于配位场各向异性，自发磁化取最低能量的结晶学方向。正如电介质在极化后会改变长度一样，磁性材料在磁化后也发生长度变化，即出现磁致伸缩现象。例如铁酸镍(NiFe2O4)饱和磁化时，沿磁化方向缩短45×10-6。陶瓷硬度高，化学稳定性好，铁氧体陶瓷比金属磁性材料的性能优良。利用自发磁化可用于制造磁带录像机(VTR)和电子计算机等的磁头。
