《第二次订正比奈-西蒙测验说明书》  陆志韦、吴天敏修订。商务印书馆1936年出版。陆志韦1924年曾以美国心理学家L.M.特曼1916年修订的斯坦福-比奈智力量表为蓝本,修订出版了《订正比奈-西蒙智力测验说明书》,第一次将比奈-西蒙智力测验引入中国。但是,这个测验的词句都是江浙一带的,北方儿童听不懂,而且,随着时间的发展,这个测验的有些题目已不合适,需要增删修改。所以陆志韦和吴天敏又修订出版了这本测验。    这个测验是一种测定个人智力的年龄量表,共有54题,分语言文字、数目、图解和技巧4类。因这些题中有些可以不同标准应用于不同年龄组,实际上有75题。3~11岁每岁6题,通过一题合智龄两个月。12岁和13岁每岁3题,14岁和15岁共9题,16~18岁共9题,每题都合4个月的智龄。记分可按积分计算,也可按智龄分数计算。知道智龄分数又可计算出智商来。测验订正者指出,本测验适用于6~14岁的儿童,6岁以下、14岁以上的儿童虽可使用,但不及6~14岁儿童准确。    本测验除列测验题外,还有测验必备、测验手续、求实足年龄的方法、积分量表几项,以及各岁儿童测验时之起点及其应加之月龄、各试题在积分量表应给之分数和智慧年龄、智慧分数对照表等3个附表。    智力测验的研究和应用在中国中断了20多年。到了70年代末,本测验的订正者之一吴天敏又第3次订正比奈-西蒙测验,称为《中国比奈测验》,1978年由北京大学出版社出版。
