九品润生【九品润生】 (名数)三界九地俱生之烦恼(即修惑)各有九品。其中欲惑九品之修惑,有润七生之作用,因而建立一来不还之二果。断之终,则为一来果。断之已,则为不还果。九品七生相对,则上三者为四生,中三者为二生,下三者为一生。更分别之,则上上为二生,上中,上下,共为二生。如中三品亦然。中上为一生,中中,中下,共为一生。下三品亦然。下上品为半生,下中品,下下品,共为半生。因而可随惑之强弱,而知润生之势力增减。此一生者,人天各一生,半生者,又曰小生。人或天之一生也。故为十四生。更分别生有与中有,则为二十八生。以七之数等,故谓为七生。犹言七叶树七处善。问第六识相应俱生之烦恼,自无始即在一切有情身中,润生无穷,何限七生耶?答曰:是惟谓入于圣位而俱生之烦恼势力,非言以前,入于见道,则其身成就无漏之圣道,故俱生之烦恼,押于彼圣道。势力仅限七生也。见了义灯一,俱舍光记八。
