农业系统 在一定的自然条件和社会经济条件下，农业各部门或各种作物的生产要素按各种比例、采用不同方式结合而成的系统。它是农业土地利用方式的总称，一般用来指某一种农业类型（见农业地域类型）。 农业是具有多种类型的综合性物质生产部门，因此农业系统也构成了多层次的大生产系统。高层次如种植业、林业、牧业、渔业以及副业各部门之间的有机组合，较低层次如种植业中的各种作物组合、林业中的林种混交、牧业中的大小牲畜放牧、渔业中池塘养鱼的鱼种混养等。农业系统一般分布在一定的地域范围内，形成不同结合形式和不同等级的生产类型，表现为某种农业经营制度，并形成农业区。 影响因素 农业生产首先是生物再生产过程，而生物的生长、发育和繁殖与周围环境密切相关，因此农业系统受到气候、地形、水文、土壤和微生物等自然环境因素的限制及其综合影响。另一方面，农业又是一种经济再生产过程，还要受到社会需求和经济、技术水平的制约。因此，农业系统的形成和发展还要受到社会经济技术条件的影响，发生变化。 划分标准 世界上不少农业地理学者和农学者对农业系统进行过划分，划分标准大体上都是根据土地性质、气候、劳动力、资金、风险、经营方式和生产水平等因素划分的。如美国的D.S.惠特尔西1936年提出下列标准：①作物和牲畜的结合；②土地利用的强度；③农场产品的生产和分配方式；④农场机械化方式和程度；⑤有关的农业设施的形式及其联系。以后也有一些地理学家指出这套标准存在不足之处，如未包括农场的规模、土地所有制的类型等指标以及缺乏定量尺度。 类型划分 农业系统的分布范围既可大到全世界，也可小到一个农场单位或一种农业耕作制度。划分标准不同，对全世界的农业系统进行的类型划分也不同。例如美国的D.B.格里格于1969年提出全世界可划分 9种农业系统类型:①迁移农业,即轮耕；②亚洲水稻耕作；③草原放牧业；④地中海式农业；⑤西欧和北美的混合经营农业；⑥乳酪业；⑦种植园农业；⑧大牧场；⑨大规模谷物生产。波兰地理学家J.科斯特罗维茨基于1982年则把世界农业系统分为6个一级类型:①传统的粗放农业；②传统的集约化农业；③市场农业;④社会主义农业;⑤高度专业化牲畜饲养业；⑥大庄园式农业。下分20个二级类型和100多个三级类型。
