明渠水流 底面和侧面为固壁而上表面与大气接触的水流。例如河道、渠道以及横断面未充满的管道中的水流等。因为自由表面上的大气压强以相对压强计为零，所以又称为无压流。由于自由表面是可动边界，明渠水流的现象与所涉及的问题均较管流复杂。明渠水流的研究内容包括分析可能发生的各种水流现象、估算输水能力及渠道纵横断面尺寸、确定水位或水深的沿程变化等。 明渠水流可作如下分类:①根据水力要素(水深、流速等)是否随时间变化,明渠水流分为恒定流和非恒定流。严格意义上的恒定流极为少见，通常把水力要素随时间变化很缓慢的情况近似地作为恒定流处理，以使问题简化，例如渠道的水力设计。对于水力要素随时间变化较快的情况，例如天然河道的洪水过程、当水轮机阀门迅速启闭时在电站引水渠中引起的水流波动、入海河口段受潮汐影响的水流等，则应作为非恒定流。②根据流速是否沿程变化,明渠水流还可分为均匀流与非均匀流。前者流速沿程不变，后者则相反。非均匀流又可按流速沿程变化的情况再划分为渐变流和急变流（见明渠恒定非均匀流）。 有时，河渠中除了有沿其轴线方向的流动──主流（又称一次流）以外，在与轴线正交的横断面上还存在流动，称为副流（或二次流）。例如河道弯段的横断面上靠近水面处横向流速指向凹岸，而临近河底处指向凸岸，这样便形成断面环流。弯段上主流与环流叠加而成为螺旋式前进的水流。这对凹、凸两岸的冲刷和淤积甚为重要。 参考书目 清华大学水力学教研室编：《水力学》，修订版，下册，人民教育出版社，北京，1981。 Ven-te Chow, Open-channel Hydraulics,McGraw-Hill,New York,1959.
