小单孢菌属分子式：CAS号：性质：放线菌目中的一属。只有纤细(直径0.5μm)、分枝、不断裂的基内菌丝而无气生菌丝的较原始的放线菌。革兰氏染色阳性，不抗酸。因在基内菌丝顶端产生单个暗色、不运动、圆或椭圆形的无性孢子，故名。孢子有抗热(70℃，30min)和抗干燥作用。菌落小而致密、不易挑取，常呈橙黄色、红色、褐色至黑色。一般好氧，个别厌氧。能分解淀粉和蛋白质，许多能分解纤维素。有些种产生抗生素，如产生庆大霉素的棘状小单孢菌(M.echinospora)和绛红小单孢菌(M. purpurea)等。分布于有机物丰富的土壤和水域中。G+Cmo1%值约为71～73。模式种为青铜小单孢菌(M. chalcea)。
