2,6-二叔丁基-4-甲基苯酚 又称2.6-二叔丁基对甲酚、2,6-二叔丁基-4-甲基苯酚。白色结晶或结晶性粉末。无嗅、无味。分子量230.36。熔点69.7℃。沸点265℃。不溶子水、甘油。溶于乙醇、苯、石油醚、油脂。对热稳定。与金属离子反应不会着色。具有单酚型特征的升华性,加热时与水蒸气一起挥发。 生产方法:主要采用烷基化法。以对甲酚、异丁醇为原料,用浓硫酸为催化剂,异丁醇经氧化铝脱水成异丁烯,经硅胶通入对甲酚中进行烷基化反应,将反应生成物用碳酸钠调整到pH值为7-8,经洗涤后用乙醇进行粗结晶,再将粗结晶品用乙醇重结晶,最后经过滤、干燥而得。 用途:化妆品的主要抗氧剂。对动植物油脂的抗氧化作用优良。用于鱼肝油、维生素油、奶油、菜油等,可延长贮存期,防止酸败变质。其抗氧能力与BHA相等。在高浓度和升温情况下,没有BHA那样的不愉快的酚类臭味。一般多与BHA并用,并以柠檬酸或其它有机酸为增效剂。在植物油中BHT:BHA:柠檬酸=2:2:1。
