芸香科芸香科Rutaceae双子叶植物纲蔷薇亚纲一个较大的科。植物体内通常有储油细胞或有分泌腔。习性多样。花很少单性,5~4基数,很少无花瓣。雄蕊与花萼同数或倍数,花丝很少合生成多束,花盘明显,心皮离生或合生,子房上位。蓇葖果、蒴果、翅果、小核果、柑果或浆果。约150属1000余种。全世界分布,主要产于热带及亚热带。中国共28属约150种包括引进栽培种,南北各地均有,主要产于西南及南部。山麻黄属和枳属为中国特有属。该科植物多具经济价值。原产南美的毛果芸香所含毛果芸香碱是治疗青光眼的有效药物。吴茱萸属某些种是速生树种也柚可入药。柑橘属和金橘属的多数种类的果是优良水果。该科植物普遍含挥发油和300多种生物碱。常可用于医药。柚
