植被指数植被指数vegetation index Zhibei zhishU植被指数(vegetation index)利用卫星探测数据或地面光谱观测数据的线性或非线性组合而形成的,能反映绿色植物生长状况和分布的特征指数。绿色植物叶面对可见光和近红外谱段的截然不同的吸收和反射光谱特性,是植被监测的物理基础。风云一号气象卫星(FY一1)、美国NO从气象卫星和陆地资源卫星(1朋dsat)的可见光红外通道和近红外通道反照率测量值的不同组合方式可以得到不同的植被指数,主要有差值植被指数、比值植被指数和归一化植被指数。 差值植被指数(DVI)又称为农业植被指数,定义为近红外通道和可见光红外通道的反照率之差。该指数对土壤背景变化极为敏感,能较好地识别水体,且随植被量的增加而迅速增大。比值植被指数(RVI)又称绿度,定义为近红外通道和可见光红外通道的反照率之比。该指数能较好地反映植被覆盖和生长状况的差异,特别适用于植物生长高度旺盛、具有高筱盖度时的植被监测。归一化植被指数(NDVI)为近红外通道和可见光红外通道反照率之差与之和的商。在植物处于中、低等覆盖程度时,该指数随覆盖度增加而迅速增大,达到一定程度后,其增长缓慢,所以该指数适合于植物早、中期生长阶段的动态监测。
