《脉望馆钞校本古今杂剧·穿关》 明代戏曲服饰史料。脉望馆为明代藏书家赵琦美书室名。赵琦美(1563～1624)一名开美,字玄度,号清常道人,常熟人。万历、天启年间,历任太常寺典簿、都察院都事、刑部郎中等职。生平好"网罗古今载籍"，"损衣削食,假借缮写"(钱谦益《初学集·刑部郎中赵君墓表》),"所裒聚凡数万卷"(龚立本《烟艇永怀》)。赵氏钞校的元明杂剧，清初为钱曾(1629～1702)所得，录于《也是园书目》中，故有称《也是园古今杂剧》。后又数易其主。1938年收为国有，藏北京图书馆。1939年，商务印书馆选出144种排印出版,题为《孤本元明杂剧》。此纸型于1957年由中国戏剧出版社重印。1958年，郑振铎又将现存的全部脉望馆钞校元明杂剧共 242种编入由他主编的《古本戏曲丛刊》第4集中,影印出版。在这批元明杂剧中,有102种附有"穿关"。"穿关"详列了每折戏的登场人物及其应穿戴的衣冠、髯口，应执的砌末。"穿关"即穿戴关目之意。附有"穿关"的剧本，赵琦美在卷末题识中大都注明录自"内本"或据"内本"校过，可知"穿关"所记录的，乃是明代宫中演出这些剧本时的装扮实况。从题识看，赵氏钞校这些剧本的时间是在万历四十二至四十五年间(1614～1617)。其时北曲已经衰微，宫中演剧时尚也由北杂剧趋向各种南曲声腔，"如'弋阳'、'海盐'、'昆山'诸家俱有之"（沈德符《万历野获编·补遗·禁中演戏》）。所以产生这批"穿关"的年代，当比赵氏转录的时间为早，很可能是由嘉靖、隆庆年间或者更早一些时候的宫廷艺人们制定的。 "穿关"记载有主要冠服名目 200多种，经过不同搭配所形成的装束样式近 300种。此外还记载了假发和髯口30多种，面具和形儿40多种，刀枪把子及其他砌末近百种。此虽非宫廷戏衣、戏具的全部，但明代宫廷杂剧的装扮面貌，于此可见大略。"穿关"中的冠服名目，大都可以从史籍上找到它们的生活来源，其中既有明代以前的服饰因素，也掺杂了明代的服饰，但其用法，同生活实际既有联系又有区别。其艺术加工程度，因无图象，无从判断。在近 300种装束样式中，男扮比女扮丰富得多，男扮中武扮又比文扮丰富，这是同所收北杂剧有较多的军事题材相适应的。"穿关"所反映的穿戴规制表明，当时除了注意区分男女、老幼、文武之外，还强调表现人物的不同的社会地位，民族的差别在服饰上也有标志。但所有这些表现，都是经过了程式化的。它们不表现某朝某代的历史具体性以及地区、季节的差别，以通用于各个朝代的历史故事戏。"穿关"包括的装束样式,比起后世戏曲来,还是简单的。不少戏剧场面的装扮，显得呆板、单调。但对于某些人物形象却已作了相当生动的刻画,如关羽、张飞、孟良、焦赞、李逵等,这同吸收说唱、小说的艺术描写有关。这批"穿关"，是迄今发现的最早的比较系统的戏曲服饰史料，对于研究戏曲舞台美术的历史演变，有重要价值。
