硼酸锌 硼酸锌简称ZB，分子式2ZnO·3B203·3．5H20．分子量434．75。白色结晶粉末，平均粒烃2～10um，相对密度2．69，熔点980℃，折射率1.58～1．59。溶于热水形成含1％B203的溶液，在冷水中溶解性极低。在260℃时仍能保持结晶水。 用作添加型阻燃剂，适用于环氧树脂、不饱和聚酯、聚氨酯、聚氯乙烯等。作为阻燃剂的硼酸锌有ZnO·B2O3·2H20、2ZnO·3B2O3·3.5H2O、3ZnO·2B203·5H2O和2ZnO·3B20·7H2O。硼酸锌含有结晶水，在300℃ 以上大量释放，起着吸热降温作用。它与卤素阻燃剂和三氧化二锑并用时，有理想的阻燃协同效应。当与卤素阻燃剂(RX)并用接触火源时，除了放出结晶水外，还能生成气态的卤化硼和卤化锌。燃烧生成的HX继续与硼酸锌生成卤化硼和卤代锌。硼酸锌与氢氧化铝并用可呈极强的协同阻燃效应。
