直流电弧炉直流电弧炉DC arc furnace  直流电弧炉(DC arc furnace)以经整流后的直流电为能源用电弧方式产生热能的、新发展起来的节能型炼钢设备。与交流电弧炉相比,可节电约5~10%,省电极2/3。 发展概况国外直流电弧炉的研究开发始于20世纪70年代中期,发展非常迅速。据报道,1989~1990年间,美、日两国共新投炼钢电弧炉_17台,其中日本8台,全部为直流电弧炉,最大的是东京制钢九州厂的130t/l 00MVA直流电弧炉;美国9台,交流炉7台,直流炉2台。中国有关钢厂在1993~1994年已向国外订购6。一150t的直流电弧炉6台套。 中国直流电弧炉起步较晚,首台直流电弧炉是1985年太原重型机器厂将本厂的一台15t三相交流电弧炉改造成的双电极直流电弧炉。1987年西安电炉研究所承担并完成了太原重机厂3t/2 ZookvA双电极直流电弧炉的设计工作,1989年投人运行。1992年以来,西安电炉研究所先后开发了10t、30t、40t单电极直流电弧炉4台套,并投人运行,显示了底阳极单电极直流电弧炉具有三相交流电弧炉和双电极直流电弧炉无法比拟的一系列优点。 单电极直流电弧炉的优点主要有以下几点: ①电弧稳定。由于交流电弧炉每秒钟过零点100次,在零点附近电弧熄灭,然后再在另一半波重新起燃,因而交流电弧炉稳定性差。而直流电弧炉采用大功率晶闸管整流,将三相交流电变为直流电,所以电弧稳定· ②不需或可减小动态补偿装置。交流电弧炉功率因数低、无功功率频繁波动和引起电网电压闪变。而直流电弧炉由于电弧稳定、无功功率的绝对值和变化量都大为减小,约为交流电弧炉的1/2~1/3,一般不需要配置动态补偿装置。即使要配置,其容量也只相当于交流炉的1/2左右。③对上一级电网短路容量要求低。通常相同容量的交流电弧炉,要求上一级电网短路容量为炉子变压器容量的80一100倍,而直流电弧炉仅要求达到40一50倍即可。由于中国广大地区电网容量与国外相比还比较小,因此这一点特别适合于中国国情。 ④降低耐火材料消耗。在交流电弧炉中,由于各相自感与互感的影响,致使三相阻抗不平衡,从而使三相电弧功率不平衡。而且电弧经常向炉壁方向偏移,电极侧炉壁上出现热点,使得炉衬寿命降低。而底阳极式的直流电弧炉,因为只有一根石墨电极,加大了电极与炉壁间的距离,炉壁上不易出现热点,正常情况下可使电炉耐火材料消耗降低30%左右,且可获得交流电弧炉上无法实现的均匀熔炼。 ⑤提高钢的质量。在交流电弧炉中,电弧只存在于钢水的表面;而在直流电弧炉中,由于钢水中存在贯通的电流,由电磁效应产生了对钢水的搅拌力,使钢水成分更为均匀,加速了冶金反应过程,有利于提高钢的质量。
